The Great Books discussion group is seeking new members.  If you're interested in reading significant works of fiction, drama, philosophy, and political science, this book club is for you.  Beginning in January, come to the library for coffee and great conversation on the second Thursday of each month.  Drop-ins are welcome.

Tuesday, September 18, 7:30 p.m. or Thursday, September 20, 2:00 p.m. Meeting Room.

Suburban Mosaic is a Northwest Suburban reading program created to foster cultural understanding through literature. Join us for a discussion of this year's selection, Enrique's Journey by Sonia Nazario.

When Enrique was five-years-old, his single mother made the trek from Honduras to the United States in search of a better life and enough money to return home for her children. When things don’t work out as planned, Enrique decides to make the difficult journey north to find her.
